It is very important to clean anything that spills on the marble and may cause stains as soon as possible. Remove spills from the area with a paper towel or a clean absorbent cloth. At this stage, you should only dry the stained area. Trying to wipe the area by rubbing will cause the stain to spread over a large area. Use only warm water and a neutral cleaning agent and clean the area several times. Then rinse and dry.
