Cleaning and Maintenance Tips:
Avoid harsh chemicals as cleaning products. A simple mixture of soap and warm water will be the best option for cleaning travertine. Fill a bucket with warm water and add a few tablespoons of soap, gently wipe the stone. Then rinse and dry. Drying will both prevent lime stains and return your travertine to its first-day glory.
How Should Natural Stone Travertine Protection Be?
If you want to use natural stone tiles on both the floor and the wall for a long time, stone impregnation is the key word here. Depending on the frequency of use, we recommend repeating the impregnation process at least every two years to provide effective protection against stains and dirt. Impregnation makes your floor and walls more durable. Impregnation penetrates the porous part of the stone and makes your stone more durable.
